Franco was “on the heavy side” growing up and only got in shape after he joined the Marine Corps. “I learned as much as I could so I could perform well on the battlefield, and people started asking for advice from all the research I did,” he says. “I thought ‘I can do this as a career!’" Prior to becoming a coach, Franco was a tactical athlete. “Getting fit was more than me looking good, it was about my survival,” he says. “I did 3 combat tours in 4 years and survived many situations thanks to me running as fast as I could and lifting heavy things.” He can honestly say that he lives by Muhammad Ali’s famous mantra “Impossible is Nothing”

The thing he loves most about coaching people is “No matter how stressful, bad, or terrible a day anyone is having, the goal is to make this workout the best part of their day. No one ever leaves without learning something new, accomplishing something new, or a smile on their face.”
